Application Procedure for the Georgia Military College State Service Scholarship Loan Program
- Complete the current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Required each year he or she intends to apply for the Georgia Military College State Service Scholarship Loan Program.
- The applicant must complete Part A and write an essay in Part B and sign the service cancelable Promissory Note of the GMC Military State Service Application & Promissory Note.
Additionally, the applicant must:
- Attach a full-length photograph of him or herself to the application
- Include a letter of recommendation from an administrative official at the high school
- The application must be forwarded to a member of the Georgia General Assembly who represents the student's congressional area to complete Part
- Ask a high school guidance counselor to send directly to GMC, the applicants:
- Official high school transcript, and
- Class schedule of the senior year, and
- Most recent SAT or ACT test scores
